Heystfagnaður – Autumn Celebration

In 2012 the idea of Heystfagnaður or Autumn celebration was born. It was first celebrated the following year. The schedule has grown exstensively year by year, from a handful of events the first year, to a varitable Smörgåsbord of events in later years. The festival typically lasts for four days from wednesday to sunday, with the main day being saturday, with concerts, a form of strong man competition, food preparing competitions, storytelling for children and much more.
